My understanding about breast lifts (from research and helping moms, not
personally) is that they are generally less destructive than are breast
reduction surgeries. The key issue is whether the nipple is FULLY detached
or not. Women can request that only the skin be detached and not all the
nerve tissue. Now, I'm not a surgeon, but this all seems like it would
still dramatically interfear with the exquisit nature of nipple/areola
stimulation for let-down and production. In practice, about 40% of the
b.lift moms I've seen have been successful at exclusively bf.
