Good Evening everyone,
I have to say I was frustrated by the quotes from this EZZO prep
course thing. Why is it that the trend in babies is to push them away? When
this book claims that studies show, or we know etc do they back it up with
actual references? If not what is the likelihood that such blantent
misinformation could result in their being sued when some poor baby dies of
dehydration as a result of their "Parent Controlled Feedings"?
Could you pass along the editor and publisher information for this
so one could get a look for oneself and perhaps respond? Either by e-mail or
here so we might also have an impact?
I'm personally wondering, legally speaking, where the line is drawn
between "parenting" advice and medical advice? now that Lactation is
recognized as a health profession (thanks Chele Marmet for her part in this)
-- or does freedom of the press negate liability here? What about sueing
the people that recommend it???
I can't help but think this goes to the whole whose baby is it
anyway thread of people looking toward what they view as an authority figure
telling them how to best do X for their baby and never questioning the
reasoning behind the recommendation.

PS (on the lighter side) I think that a warning ought to be put in
the welcome message, "list contents may cause high blood pressure" ;-)
