A client with Lyme disease is supposed to take doxycycline.  She's allergic
to penicillin.  Her child is 22 months and nurses twice a day.

Are there more compatible meds?  Is there likely to be a problem with
doxycycline (one of the less preferable tetracyclines) give the age and
nursing frequency of the child?
