I would appreciate anyone in California who has had success in receiving Medical
reimbursement, particularly for outpatient lactation consults to contact me.
We currently receive something on the order of $20.00 per consult, regardless of
length. Do you have more luck with procedure codes, rather than just ICD-9s,
durable medical equipment, rental or reimbursement? Please feel free to contact
me at e-mail below. We are hospital-based in- and out-patient, and currently
have to charge the mothers as our patients (it's too complicated and stupid to
elaborate on ) rather than the baby, regardless of which of the two has more of
a problem. thanks.
