Dear fellow Lactnetters: I just received a most interesting letter from
someone who is not on Lactnet, but had some "excerpts" passed along to her.
It was a very positive two page (single spaced) letter with an article
enclosure on "Relactation and induced lactation: what the exceptions can
tell us," by Virginia Thorley, OAM, IBCLC to appear in Birth Issues Mar
1997. Her letter was prompted by a few of our posts, including one of mine
on relactation. In any case, I think it's important for all of us to
realize that our posts and Lactnet in general are being used beyond the
on-line purpose. That is not to say this is negative, but certainly more
far-reaching than would appear at the surface. I guess what I am trying to
say is that IF you have references to back up your statements (and yes, I'm
guilty of not always doing this), please put them in your posts so that
people who may receive this out-of-context discussion can track down your
point.
WarmLLLy,
Chris
