I think the best advice I could give this mother is to consider not
going on vacation for ten days, or taking her toddler with her, if she
does go. It can be done...I have carted babies and toddlers, and
Lact-Aids, all over the US, Canada and Europe.

I think it would be unkind to make a child go this long without nursing
and without mother. Time passes more slowly for children. TEn days
would seem like an awful long time to a two year old. I think it is
fairly likely that a ten day vacation would be the end of nursing, too.

This is my opinion. I know there are many who think it is good to go on
vacations without young children. I have had alot of pressure to do so.
But I always tell the suggestor that my children will only be little for
a short time and I will have plenty of time to go on childless vacations
later!

Aloha,
Darillyn
