I think a brief salt water breast dip promotes healing on cracked
nipples.
(after showing basic latch/position )
apx.1/4 teaspoon table salt in a small cup of warm water.
soak nipple (few seconds) in water after nursing and allow to air dry.
Then express a bit of milk.
