My next door neighbor happens to be the district manager of McDonalds for
all of Northern Arizona. I had a talk with him today, explaining what has
been said on the LACTNET about the mom who was told to leave the restaurant.
Asked him if this is standard McDonald's policy to disallow breastfeeding at
the food chain.

He couldn't believe the story, and said that there are "jerky managers"
everywhere, in all types of restaurants who might do something like this.
My neighbor says that this is in no way a standard policy for McDonalds, at
least not to his knowlegde, and that he would never allow this to happen at
any of his stores (his wife has Bfed 2 kids!!). He says there are 10,0000
stores nationwide, each run by a different personality. Says he even allows
staff to pump at his worksite, and that it's no problem.

Maybe this story is an individual case of STUPIDITY!
