Hold on one second here.  It may be that there are varying levels of
lead in breastmilk, but that does *not* change the fact that studies
have found the amount of lead in infant formula to be in the range of
100 times greater than that in breastmilk.  Furthermore, there were
two case studies in Canada of acute lead encephalopathy in formula fed
babies where the water for their formula was boiled in a samovar.  Of
course, not many people would boil water in a samovar, but, our lead
pipes are full of lead, and how many mothers take *hot* water to make
up the formula (hot water which has even more lead than cold).

"Breastmilk is guilty until proved otherwise; formula innocent until
proved otherwise".
