About this pierced nipple thing, I have a very dear friend who had a pierced
nipple, and she BFs very well, thank you!   I have also worked with other
moms who have had this done, and they BF fine, too.  In order to affect the
ductwork, wouldn't the piercing have to be back into the areola???  Most of
the nipple piercings I have seen (and I don't know HOW or WHY anyone would
want to do that.  Guess I am an old fogey at 30!) are at the front of the
nipple, not into the areola.
Methinks the kind Dr has not a clue, so giveth out incorrect
information......typical.  :/
