I am not aware of any US cases of breastfeeding transmission from baby to
mom, but would certainly avoid it if there are sores in baby's mouth
and/or on the nipples.  (Perhaps she'd consider donating her milk instead
of nursing at breast if she's convinced she needs to do this....)
