I must second the notes that have implied that it is fine to go ahead with
this ballot. I agree with Jack and others who are appalled at the idea of
ILCA becoming a professional association that has no by law in place against
accepting money from formula companies. As Jack says, If not us [to protect
the WHO code[ , then who?

I am also wondering why Lactnet is NOT an appropriate venue for such a
discussion. Also, what happens for those members who are not able to
participate in a discussion like this? Will they be informed via letter of
the concerns of the membership, and have a chance to speak their minds?
