Hello everyone,
I just had a phone call from a mom with questions about vaccinations as they
will be moving to Bangkok in February. She leaves for CA on the 18th of Dec.
to have Christmas at home, this was planned before they knew about the move,
so they will fly directly from there to Asia. She would rather get the shots
here before she leaves as the process is simpler. Her son is 14months and
still nursing. According to the Health Dept. here she needs the following
injections:
Gamma Globulin
BCG (against TB)
Hepatitis B
Japanese Encephalitis (they have told her her son is too young for this shot)
Typhoid
Rabies
Any information (especially about the Japanese Encephalitis)on how these will
be transferred, or not, to her son is appreciated.
Thanks,
Meredith in Germany
