If you insist that the staff who calls for help remain with you when
you are helping the mother and baby, they will not call you only to
slough off the work, and they might learn something.  This should be a
condition of calling the LC, that the nurse is there with you helping
you help.  None of this "LC is here, I'm going for coffee".
