Just received a call from a fellow LLL leader who is looking for info on
whether or not a mom of an 11 week old baby whose nipples are
cracked, one of which has pus coming from the crack, should for any
reason discontinue bf. Doc has prescribe antibiotics, and the root
cause of the problem has not been determined. I have found nothing
to say pus is a reason to discontinue nursing, but Doc feels this "might
be best". I am currently NO MAIL so please post this to me privately as
well as to the list. Thanks a bunch.
