although I agree that coloring hair doesn't hurt or affect the breastmilk,
the issue with coloring & perms has been that the chemicals can be absorbed
through the scalp which DOES contain lots of blood vessels.  I don't think
anyone is concerned with absorption through the hair follicles itself.
