For born-again Christians there is a personal relationship
with THE COUNSELOR, Jesus Christ.
Not a silly question because there is more than pyschotherapy
and/or drugs.  This is a legitimate answer to your question
because if it has worked for at least one person and no more,
as it did for me, then it is a viable alternative.
