Hello Kathy,

        Maybe.  The posts on Lactnet seem to suggest that there is a problem
if the depo provera is given within the first few days.  We do not use
it much in Toronto, but generally it is given later, at 6 weeks and we
have not seen many problems.  In African where I worked, it was used a
lot and was given later (6 weeks), and we did not see problems with
milk supply, but then, we did not have much followup.
