To Diane who figures she needs to restructure her bf class because so few of
the people on this list chose to bf for the baby's health. I'll be the
dissenting voice: The main reason I chose to bf was to avoid allergies;
while I was pregnant I was in love with all the science of breast milk and
breastfeeding. It was only after my son was born that these reasons started
to be much less important and I fell in love with the experience. I remember
reading the old LLL News (the pre New Beginnings magazine)with all the gooey
stories and thinking how sappy it was, until I had my own child, of course.
Then I couldn't get enough of those "sappy" stories!
