Hi All,
Given that Predinsone is AAP approved, and the Vanceril looks (according to
Hale) like there would be minimal (if any) amounts going into the milk (since
it is an inhaleant) I would suggest that the Pediatrician get some updated
info (Like Hale's book) and tell the mom to BF THE BABY!
Again, it seems that some Drs, rather than take the time to do a bit of
research and get good info for the patient, will "sacrifice BF on the altar
of ignorance" (love that line!) and who is put at risk? The baby, who in
this case shouldn't have any ABM simply because of his risk of asthma!

Being nice is sometimes hard to do, huh? Just want to slap some people
sometimes to get them to see the light!

Jay
