Diane: Maybe it's my health ed background coming out, but did you know
that more children can identify Joe Camel than Mickey Mouse? Not that
Mickey is all that innocent, but compared to Camel, I'd take the Mouse any
day. Billboards and ads abound in our kids lives...we don't smoke (never
have) and don't have any friends that do (although both grandfathers do),
yet our kids identify the brand and what they are selling. SICK society
isn't it? We can't bare our breasts, but subliminal seduction is endorsed
and even subsidized.
