This touches on 2 subject: I currently nurse my 2 1/2 year old, and also
use an Azmacort (triamciniolone acetonide) inhaler (along with my albuterol
inhaler).  My doctor (who is supportive of breastfeeding) called the
Azmacort inhaler, prednisone.  I don't know if the above triam... is
another type of prednisone.  In any case, I use it on an as-needed basis,
with absolutely no problem in my child, and the doctor has no problem
with my nursing and using it.

Also, in the Azmacort insert, there are instructions that tell the user
to rinse the mouth very carefully after using, because if not, you can
get oral thrush while using it.  When I wasn't careful enough I did get
oral thrush.  So I wonder where that dentist in Mary Kay's post was
coming from - surely if its listed as a side effect in the box,
it is pretty well established that adults can get oral thrush!
