I know it's off topic (sorry but can't resist) a dear friend, mother of six
in a row, close together, told me she knew she had been a mother of small
people for 'too long' when at her first 'minus kids' proper dinner party,
she found herself absentmindedly cutting up the meat on the plate of the
unknown gentleman next to her as she was talking to him. She said the look
on the bloke's face was worth everything, even the embarrassment! This story
