I have recently become a subscriber to Lactnet.
I am a father of four breastfed children and a pharmacist.
For the past 21 years I have been working in the area of and
have been involved with medications and breastfeeding. I have
published, consulted, advised, comforted, conjoled, lectured,
cried, and prayed with others involved in medication and
breastfeeding situations, probably several thousand times by now.
Lactnet has opened up another opportunity to become more
intimately involved with breastfeeding. WOW!!! There is a lot
of stuff going on out there with breastfeeding.
Before I sign off, I want to tell you a comment that
a very dear friend of mine told me. For a long time, she
thought the proper terminology for "breastfeeding" was
"breastfeasting." Thinking about it, breastfeasting would
not have been a bad original definition.
Take care,
