Dear Colleagues:

Got some good news today. I spoke to the physician in charge of Janssen
Pharmaceutical who makes Motillium(domperidone) for distribution in Canada and
other parts of the world.

For those of you not acquainted with domperidone, it is an excellent
galactagogue with only minimal side effects. Our esteemed colleagues in Canada
have used it for some time, but it has not been approved through the FDA for
distribution in the USA.

Janssen is presently beginning a new drug application and hopefully, by the
middle of 1997, it should be available for use here, with indications as a
gastrokinetic agent... but at least its on the market for use. Let us hope that
the FDA clears it rapidly.

Regards

Tom Hale
