Re the March of Dimes conference, in which some of the speakers are
speaking w/o formula funding and others are: This was my letter. Perhaps
I should have added that I wouldn't be going until they got their funding
straightened out...

Your February 6 and 7 conference sounds wonderful. It must have been a
difficult decision, accepting underwriting from a formula manufacturer,
especially given your status as "the number one volutary organization
dedicated to healthier babies." It's not easy, I know.
I look forward to the day when organizations like yours can find adequate
funding from other sources, so that unhappy compromises can be avoided and
the entire conference can truly be said to support normal health and
development for all children. All the best.
