Hi all,
I am looking for references to breastfeeding prior to surgery. A mom in my
area is taking her 2yo son in for surgery to remove several rotten teeth. She
has already been told that he may have nothing by mouth (including BM)4hrs.
prior to surgery. Since the surgery is scheduled for 7:30am she is
anticipating that he may want to nurse for a few minutes in the last 1-2
hours. Any research, documentation she could give her MD would be helpful.
