Gee whiz. I feel as if I'm talking to empty cyberspace. Every time
thrush is mentioned and I post something, I mention gentian violet.
Nobody every posts anything about it. It's like there's an
embarrassed silence out there. It's a terrific treatment for thrush,
it almost always works, and it works quickly. It even helps the
occasional woman who has deep breast pain (don't ask me why). It is
messy; the occasional baby will get mouth ulcers (I've seen 3 in 13
years, even though I always recommend g.v. for thrush, at least 10
times a month). And everyone is still using nystatin, which never
seems to work, and asking for help.
Gentian violet also has the advantage of not requiring a script, which
gets around the problem of doctors not wanting to prescribe it.
Are doctors that easily hurt? If they are, they should consider other
work.
