According to Nutrition During Lactation, the 1991 report of the US National
Academy of Sciences, Institute of Medicine, "concentrations of lactose in
human milk are remarkably similar among women, and there is no convincing
evidence that they can be influenced by dietary factors." (p. 124).
Lactose is the primary carbohydrate present in human milk.

Lawrence, in BF: A Guide for the Medical Profession (Mosby, 1989) adds that
the glucose fraction of milk may be "significantly higher in milk of
diabetics."  However, "The glucose elevations probably have little clinical
significance to the infant because glucose makes up about 0.4% of the total
energy content." (p. 396).
