Yes. Personally, tho not bf related, I have had claims denied, but when I
resubmitted with a well thought out letter, it subsequently was reimbursed.
In one case I obtained the med. record and provided a little bit of info from
it. Then I suggested the ins. co. obtain more info from the chart and the
admitting physician to verify the need for the service. They paid.
