Regarding Carpel Tunnel Synd and positioning...I've found that using a
sling or B_by B_ndler works very well. This is especially true for moms
who have nursing clothing with concealed openings. I have personally
nursed through three public health conferences and several lactation confs
with a baby slinging off to my side, essentially in the foot-ball or clutch
hold--and I was still able to take notes in the CERPs. Lying down is also
an ideal position for virtually all mothers. Many pillows can make it so
she doesn't have to flip over to feed from both sides--just shift
slightly.'Hope this helps.
