Karen, You expressed yourself so well! I bet we've all been there. I find so
often a mom comes in, we solve the problem, (often a latch thing) she leaves
thrilled and that's all the thanks I need to make my day. Then I have day or
days where nothing seems to work and I feel like a fraud or incompetant
idiot. The only thing I have found that helps me get through this is some
sage advice from a far more experienced LC. than myself. She always reminds
me of the miracle drug, TINCTURE OF TIME. If some of your moms have chosen
to supp. then they do have time. Remember, Baby steps!! It amazes me how
many moms remind me that I told them that, at about 6wks-3 mos.,
everything would fall into place and they would marvel at it all. Many share
this info with their friends when they get pregnant. Best Wishes for many
more happy experiences, and positive challenges. My husband reminds me that
I probably won't solve all the world's problems this week no matter how hard
I try. Be kind to yourself, and be glad we have lactnet. WE DO MAKE A
DIFFERENCE!!
