Forgot to say in my last post, in response to Jay's question, I assume the
thymus would be bigger in BF babies because of the growth factors and hormones
in BM (not present in ABM), which contribute to growth and development of
various organs, including the lymphoid organs. It has been shown that the
acquired immune system matures faster in BF babies.
