Face it, everyone: we're baby-oriented. When I was a young mom with my
first, I deeply resented strangers butting in and telling me how to care
for my baby, but I was quite chagrined years later, a couple of years
after my youngest weaned himself - against my will, I might add. I was at
the playground with the kids and heard a young baby cry, and to my great
surprise felt that distinctive oxytocin tingle! It was like,
instead of "butting in", I was "breasting in"?
Has this happened to others? I had stopped nursing about 2 years earlier!
Best regards, Judy Knopf
