Thank you Melissa for your letter.  I have been thinking about this matter
all day and you so well expressed my own thoughts as I'm sure you did for
many. I, too, feel strongly that the statements regarding formula companies
should remain in the By-Law. I agree that ILCA may have more to lose than a
few dollars, if  they don't scratch the present ballot and start over.

Leslie's suggestion to grandfather in present ILCA members who are not IBCLC
for now and then except only new members who are IBCLC is a reasonable
suggestion which I hope will be considered.

I'm  praying for a resolution that will bring peace and unity to our
organization. As Melissa said, "We have too much work to do in this world for
in-fighting."
