Reglan
I know that the Gupta and Gupta study (so often cited re Reglan's
effectivity) cites no side effects. My experience is otherwise. 50% have
had no side effects. The other 50% have experienced headaches, drowsiness or
diarrhea (rare but severe enough to stop Reglan immediately). I copied an
article on pros and cons of Reglan and have all parents read this before
taking. Some decide not to take it.

It is not FDA-approved for use as a galactogogue, right?

Second-hand am aware of a mother becoming very depressed on this -- she was
depressed in the first place and Reglan seemed to exacerbate the situation.
If a mother has a history of depression prevailiing wisdom is not to
prescribe.

I have not seen Reglan prescribed for more than 10 days, and given the
increasing potential for side effects with time, would not be comfortable
with this.

Pump info
My experience is that the C....c is the pump of choice for generating (vs
maintaining) a supply. Mothers report it is more comfortable and more
effective. However, choice of pump just is not the whole story here. No
pump can work miracles.
