Thank you for your responses, so far.  Cindy wrote that the Lactofree is still cow's milk based.  I would have expected to hear from this nurse that her baby started the eczema when she started him on Lactofree, but  the eczema had already surfaced before Lactofree was introduced. HMMM...  I haven't talked to her since I emailed you all - keep ideas coming.  I will ask her about the possibility of latex allergy mentioned by one of our colleagues. Thanks!!
