I've had a request for studies on libido (sex drive) in breastfeeding women.
Does anyone have any references handy, or know the keywords to search with
on Medline? I'm not coming up with anything. I think we all know women
with young children are not as interested in sex as before the pregnancy,
but I'm looking for research on mechanisms. Is it lower estrogen, different
levels of androgens (higher/lower) while lactating? Just too tired and
touched out? TIA.
