When a mom needs a mammogram done, I tell her to take baby(child) and sitter
along, nurse one side as "empty" as possible, mammogram that side while
sitter watches baby(child). Then con kid into nursing on second side and
then mammo that side. Techs don't like it because it is more time
consuming, but at least it clears fluid out of the way. The breast is
denser, so you want someone with lots of experience to read it. Also be
alert for bruising or plugged ducts after, from the squashing.
Nancy, either find another place to get mammogram or just make appt, go in
and have it done. I just wouldn't bother to volunteer the info first. Tell
them after the pix are done.
