I would say, rather than being "lucky" to find out what the mom hasn't
told us, that it is a reward for our wizardry in knowing what questions to
ask in order to diagnose the problem. The clever diagnostician, whether
physician, nurse, LC, dietician, physiotherapist, psychologist,
whatever!, has to know the "right" questions to ask.
Let's hear it for the LC sleuths!
