Hi again,
Lots of moms over the years have been told to use it to make pancakes and
waffles. Giving it to your local shelter is also a good suggestion; however,
these do not send a message to the companies that distribute ABM. As an
advocate, I believe this last one is VERY important.
I suggest to give the moms several suggestions, which include a use of the
ABM for themselves, a use to help her community, and also a proactive message
to the companies.
This proactive response might be to suggest that the mother refuse the sample
and explain to the giver their displeasure at the companies' using them as a
marketing technique or "return it to sender" when it is mailed. This tells
the companies that their "gift" was not appreciated nor wanted, and also
tries to educate hospital workers, childbirth educators, etc. that they are
being used by the companies to sell their product.
Only another suggestion, hope it helps!
