I understand (have not seen any Lactnet messages in about two weeks) that
several of you have commented about my recent resignation as JHL
Editor-in-Chief.

I want to take this brief opportunity to thank all of you who have (It has
been reported to me) said such kind things about my work for the past 11
years. I truly appreciate your comments and would reply to each and every
one of them if I could.

I will soon be totally off all electronic communications for a minimum of 6
weeks and thus unable to communicate with any of you for some time and I
did not want to have you think I was ignoring you.

So, please... If you made a comment, be aware that I am most grateful and
that I will get back to you (privately) as soon as I am in a position to
get back on LACTNET.
