The post about the colleague whose wife died caught my attention.

Your sincere condolances are all that are necessary.  You can follow by how
you truly understand another side of his grief.. that his baby was not
exclusively BF as they had planned.  Most of his friends and colleagues will
not understand this loss... you are in the unique postition of supporting
him through this aspect of his loss.  Good luck.
