Jan Riordan and I are seeking assistance as we begin the planning process
for revising our textbook.

If you have read the "brown bible," would you be willing to help us make
these plans? You can participate by answering the following questions, and
e-mailing me PRIVATELY your replies. Many thanks in advance. We look
forward to hearing from many of you wonderful people!

1. Currently, BHL by Riordan and Auerbach is available only in hard cover.
If it were available in soft cover (paperback) would you be interested in
purchasing it?
___ Yes
___ No

2. If the book was available in soft cover, what would you want to see in
that edition? (check-ˆ-all that apply)
___ Only a few chapters from the hard cover
___ All of the chapters from the hard cover
___ Color pictures
___ fewer than in the hard cover
___ the same number as in the hard cover
___ more than in the hard cover
___ The same appendices in the hard cover

If you could ADD anything to the Riordan-Auerbach textbook, what would it be?

New topics? (which one(s))

New pictures? (of what)

New appendices? (what topics)

4. What would you be willing to pay for a soft cover of this textbook?
