In addition to pump rentals and manufacturing nursing pads, I am also a part
time (very part time!) freelance artist. Last night Iwas looking through a
book last night to get ideas for a logo for my brothers new in-home catering
business in California .
This book, published by Dover Publications, called Eating and Drinking
Illustrations has over 420 b/w non-copywritten drawings covering every
aspect of eating and drinking. There are victorian illustrations of
utensils, art deco illustrations of people eating in restaurants, art nuveau
illustrations, woodcuts, modern, etc. You get the picture.
Well, imagine my surprise when I looked at page 13 and saw a lovely drawing
of a mother nursing her baby!
(In anticipation of the next question... No. - there is not one picture of
a baby with a bottle in its mouth! and...yes - the editor is a woman!)
