Chris,
I have had mothers in the same situation now that one hospital is
agressively marketing the pump in style in prenatal breastfeeding
classes.  I have not seen one be able to maintain a milk supply in the
absence of an infant sucking with only this pump.  I prefer wither the
Ameda Egnell smb or lact-e, or the Medela classic if the baby is not at
breast.
