I haven't had a lot of luck with breast shells -- of course, the last two
moms I saw who had been given breast shells for flat nipples had been given
the soft shells for sore nipples, but that's another story (ARGHHHH)... but
I've had a lot of luck using an inverted syringe -- quick & easy, and might
do the trick...takes just a couple of seconds, even if she would have to use
it a couple of times or more in a feed. Depending on the size of her nipple
you would either need to use a 12 or a 20 cc syringe.
