Many women I have worked with find a decrease in supply with their
menses--not all, but many. Blood calcium levels are at their lowest a week
before menstruation and I attribute the decrease in supply to this lowered
ca. I recommend an added ca/mag supplement from mid cycle through the
mentrual period for women whose bodies react this way. This added ca/mag
also helps alleviate uterine cramping before and during the peroid, whether
a woman is b'feeding or not. My daughters find it very helpful.
