   There is an article in the September issue of PEDIATRCS...the concusion of
which is:

    No correclation was found between the detection of HIV-1 in breastmilk or
the duration of breastfeeding and transmission of HIV-1 infection in the
study of Ugandan woman.... prospective study fu for at least 2 yrs..201 HIV-1
seropositive and 86 seronegative woman... duration of bf by transmiter
mothers 15.8 months, nontransmitter mothers...14.4 months....
