Dear Heather,

There are many excellent breastfeeding educational materials available
thru places like Childbirth Graphics. How much you use depends on the
group you are teaching (age, composition, and so on) and your own style. I
have taught many classes successfully using just a model breast and a baby
doll. I also like doing things like writing statements (true or false)
about breastfeeding on strips of paper and passing them in a basket around
the class. Each person takes a strip of paper and then we go around the
group reading each statement and discussing it. This can be a good way to
engage a group in discussion and also make sure that you cover key topics.
